Reverse description Large crowned Danish royal coat of arms at center, comprising a complex quartered shield displaying the lions of Denmark, the lion of Norway, the three crowns of Sweden, and various other heraldic charges associated with the Danish crown territories. The central shield is encircled by a wreath of smaller oval shields, each bearing the arms of individual constituent territories. A royal crown surmounts the main shield, and a circular Latin legend divided by the shield runs along the toothed rim.
