Reverse description The crowned arms of Norway, featuring a lion rampant holding an axe, are centrally displayed on a shield and divide the denomination value. The shield is flanked by a laurel and oak wreath tied at the base. Crossed mining hammers, symbolic of the Kongsberg Mint, appear below the shield and divide the four-digit date. Fineness and weight indications are inscribed in the fields, following contemporary Norwegian monetary convention.
