| Beschrijving voorzijde | King Henry VII enthroned in full majesty, facing front, seated upon an ornate Gothic throne with a high panelled back, holding an orb in his left hand and a sceptre in his right. The throne is flanked by side pillars bearing a greyhound on the left and a dragon on the right, the dynastic supporters of the early Tudor monarchy. The king is depicted with a comparatively smaller head characteristic of the Group III coinage, wearing a crown and royal robes. A continuous Latin legend in uncial script surrounds the entire design within a beaded inner circle. |
