Reverse description The reverse features the celebrated design of Saint George on horseback, adapted from the original composition by Benedetto Pistrucci, here rendered in a modern interpretation. Saint George, helmeted and draped in a flowing cloak, is depicted on a rearing horse trampling a writhing dragon beneath its hooves. The saint thrusts a broken sword downward toward the vanquished dragon, which displays outstretched wings and a gaping jaw. In the exergue, the date 2018 is flanked by a small crowned shield mintmark to the left and the engraver's initials B.P. to the right.
