| Reverse description | The Royal Arms of Prince William, Prince of Wales, rendered as a quartered shield bearing the lions of England, the lion rampant of Scotland, and the harp of Ireland, surmounted by a royal crown above a helm with mantling. The shield is supported on the dexter by a crowned lion rampant and on the sinister by a unicorn gorged with a coronet, both finely detailed in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The Garter motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE appears on a circlet around the shield, while two scrolling banners below bear the motto DIEU ET MON DROIT flanking the central motto DEFEND LE DROIT. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded inner border with a rope-pattern outer rim. |
