Obverse description Central field features a crowned ducal monogram of Jacob Kettler, rendered in relief within a beaded or dotted inner border. The monogram is surmounted by a ducal crown with clearly defined prongs. The circular Latin legend runs along the coin's periphery, separated from the central device by the inner border. The overall style is typical of small hammered billon coinage of the mid-17th century Baltic region, with slightly irregular flan characteristic of hand-struck issues.
