| Beschrijving voorzijde | Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Anthemius facing right, with a dot in the field behind the head. The imperial effigy is rendered in the late Roman tradition, with finely detailed armour and drapery visible at the shoulder. The bust is circumscribed by the Latin imperial titulature legend. The overall execution reflects barbarian imitative workmanship, reproducing the general composition of contemporary Western Roman solidus types. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing frontal figure of Victory personified, holding a long cross in the right hand and a globus cruciger or small winged Victory in the left, with one foot placed upon a human head symbolising the subjugation of enemies. The composition closely imitates the standard reverse type of Western Roman solidi struck in the name of Anthemius at Ravenna. The exergual inscription COMOB denotes the standard gold fineness conventionally associated with Constantinople, here reproduced in a barbarian imitative context. The surrounding Latin legend proclaims the victory of the Augusti. The engraving style is cruder than official Roman mint production, consistent with Germanic tribal imitative coinage. |
