Reverse description The reverse displays a large stylized cross or arrow motif rendered in bold, deeply struck low relief, filling the entire field within the irregular circular flan. The design consists of crossed diagonal lines forming a prominent X-pattern, consistent with a bundle of arrows or an armillary sphere derivative, a common reverse type on Portuguese Indian calin issues of this period. The surface shows typical wear and corrosion expected of a tin-lead alloy coin struck at a colonial mint. No legend or border is present, and the flan edges are irregular due to the hammered production method.
