| Reverse description | Central device consisting of two crossed batons or sceptres tied with a ribbon, surmounted by a royal crown, with the denomination mark 'S·1' (Soldo 1) displayed prominently in the lower field. The surrounding Latin legend along the rim continues the royal titulature of Charles Emmanuel III as Duke of Savoy and Montferrat and Prince of Piedmont. The composition is typical of the Turin Mint's production for small-denomination billon issues of this period. |
