Obverse description Central field displays the crowned coat of arms of the County of Gorizia, featuring a horizontally striped shield bisected diagonally by a bend, flanked on either side by elaborate baroque scrollwork and foliate laurel branches. An imperial crown surmounts the shield, rendered in high relief with fine detail. The entire design is enclosed within a milled border of fine dentils running along the coin's periphery. No legend appears on the obverse; the heraldic composition occupies the full field in a bold baroque style characteristic of Habsburg provincial coinage.
