Reverse description The reverse features a standing figure of Christ in Majesty (Cristo benedicente), shown facing front in long robes, raising the right hand in benediction and holding a long cross-staff in the left hand. The figure stands on a small platform or ground line within the coin's field. A beaded inner border frames the central device, with the circular Latin legend · LAVS · TI BI · SOLI · (Thee Alone be Praised) running around the periphery. The composition follows the devotional iconographic tradition common to Venetian piccolo and soldino denominations of the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries.
