| 备注 |
The Federal State of Loreto declared its short-lived secession from Peru in 1921 under the leadership of Guillermo Cervantes, and these emergency notes were among the few concrete administrative acts the movement managed to produce. Printed locally by El Oriente — a newspaper press in Iquitos pressed into service as a currency printer — the issue reflects the extreme isolation of the Amazonian department and its near-total dependence on whatever equipment was at hand.
The rebellion collapsed within weeks, leaving most of these notes unredeemed. Surviving examples tend to carry folds from actual handling rather than vault storage.
