Reverse description Central device consists of the Danish arms — three crowned lions passant with nine hearts arranged on a shield — set within a plain rectangular shield surmounted by a royal crown. To the left of the shield appears the denomination mark '1' and to the right the abbreviation 'S' (for Skilling), each flanked by pellets. The date is split across the lower flanks of the shield, with '17' to the left and the final two digits to the right. Below the shield, the mint master's initials 'CW' identify the engraver Christian Winslow, serving as the mint mark for the Copenhagen Mint.
