| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the elaborate interlaced royal cypher of Frederik IV, composed of two intertwined letter F's flanking a central numeral IV, all rendered in a bold baroque calligraphic style. The monogram occupies the majority of the flan and is surmounted by a royal crown with arched bands and cross finial. The field is plain and unlettered, with no peripheral legend. | Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device consists of the Danish arms — three crowned lions passant with nine hearts arranged on a shield — set within a plain rectangular shield surmounted by a royal crown. To the left of the shield appears the denomination mark '1' and to the right the abbreviation 'S' (for Skilling), each flanked by pellets. The date is split across the lower flanks of the shield, with '17' to the left and the final two digits to the right. Below the shield, the mint master's initials 'CW' identify the engraver Christian Winslow, serving as the mint mark for the Copenhagen Mint. |
