| Mô tả mặt trước | Central field dominated by the interlaced double cypher of King Frederik IV, rendered as two mirrored and intertwined F4 monograms in an elaborate baroque script. The conjoined monogram is surmounted by a large royal crown with arched frame and jewelled band. The coin's border is defined by a continuous beaded or milled rim encircling the entire design. No legend is present on the obverse; the monogram alone serves as the royal device. |

Below, the mintmaster's initials B·H· appear on a fifth line, identifying the Rendsborg mint official. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or milled border consistent with the obverse. The lettering is bold and upright in a characteristic early eighteenth-century Germanic style. |

Frederik IV issued this small billon piece during a period of monetary reconstruction following Denmark's costly involvement in the Great Northern War, which had drained the treasury and severely disrupted coin production through the 1710s. The skilling denominations of this reign are notable for their brief production windows — this type ran only two years before being superseded by revised coinage ordinances.
