| Description de l’avers | Central shield bearing the three crowned lions of Denmark, surmounted by a royal crown, with the date split 5-4 flanking the shield within the inner field. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend reading CHRISTIANVS · D · G · DANOR · REX arranged around the periphery between the beaded and plain outer borders. The device is executed in the bold, somewhat crude relief characteristic of mid-sixteenth-century hammered provincial coinage. |

| Description du revers | The Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) depicted standing to the left, bearing a staff topped with a patriarchal cross and a pennant, the whole set within a beaded inner circle. This emblematic device served as the traditional heraldic symbol of Gotland. The circumferential legend MONE · NO · INSVLÆ · GOTLANDT runs between the beaded inner and plain outer borders, identifying the piece as new coinage of the island of Gotland. The overall style is consistent with hammered silver coinage of the mid-sixteenth century. |
