| Obverse description | The upper section bears a vignette of a decorative lidded tea kettle (tetsubin) set within a cloud and scroll surround rendered in woodblock-print style. The central and lower sections are divided into vertical columns of classical Chinese-style script presenting the denomination, issuing region, and issuing authority, framed by stylised phoenix or crane vignettes in the lower corners. A red seal impression is applied over the central text area as an authentication stamp. |
