Reverse description The quartered Austria-Burgundy coat of arms, comprising the fields of Austria, Flanders (with three fleurs-de-lis), and Brabant (with a lion rampant), surmounted by an imperial crown and flanked on either side by elaborate foliate and scroll ornaments issuing from the arms of the cross. The shield rests centrally in the field without a cross, contrary to the standard description; the date appears in the legend. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery within a raised rim.
