| Obverse description | Central field displays the quartered coat of arms of Waldeck-Pyrmont, depicting a star and a cross pattée on a diaper-patterned shield, ensigned by a princely crown above and draped within an ermine-lined mantle. The shield is flanked by the flowing folds of the ceremonial mantle, its tasselled cords visible at either side. A beaded border frames the design, with the circular legend reading FÜRSTENTHUM WALDECK U. PYRMONT distributed around the full perimeter. |
