Obverse description Central design features the Phra Sumen (Royal Spire), a tall multi-tiered chedi flanked by two smaller chedis, all rendered in fine relief against a plain field. The composition is framed by stylized foliage and floral ornaments in traditional Siamese decorative style, characteristic of the coinage issued under King Rama IV. The overall design conveys royal and religious symbolism central to the Chakri dynasty's iconography.
