| Obverse description | Central field features the royal Siamese cipher 'CPR' (Chula Chom Klao Phra Raja, the monogram of King Rama V) rendered in ornate Thai script, surmounted by a tiered spired chedi (stupa) with radiating beams emanating from the apex, symbolising royal and divine authority. The design is executed in high relief with elaborate decorative flourishes framing the monogram. The Thai legend 'กรุงสยาม' (Kingdom of Siam) appears to the left and 'รัชกาลที่ ๕' (Reign the Fifth) to the right of the central device. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded rim encircling the entire design. |

| Reverse description | Central field bears a three-line Thai inscription denoting the denomination and date, reading 'สิ้ก' (Sik), '๒ อันเฟื้อง' (2 pieces equal 1 Fuang), and the Chula Sakarat date '๑๒๓๘' (CS 1238, corresponding to 1876 AD). The inscription is framed by a wreath of laurel and floral branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, rendered in fine relief. The overall composition is symmetrical and elegant, consistent with the Western-influenced engraving style adopted for Siamese coinage of this period. A beaded border runs continuously around the coin's periphery. |
