Obverse description Central field displays four Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform reading pattern — top to bottom, right to left — denoting the Qianlong reign title and Tibetan treasury designation. Stylized cloud motifs occupy each corner of the central panel. A surrounding border inscription records the regnal year in Chinese characters. The composition is characteristic of the Sino-Tibetan coinage reform of 1793, with bold, regular-script (kaishu) calligraphy. The overall design is enclosed within a plain circular border.
