Reverse description The reverse displays a central circular medallion containing horizontal Tibetan script indicating the cycle and year of issue as well as the denomination, enclosed within a beaded inner border. The central medallion is surrounded by elaborate arabesque and foliate scroll ornaments that fill the field. A further circular Tibetan legend runs around the periphery of the design, the whole encircled by a raised beaded rim consistent with the obverse.
