| Description de l’avers | Right-facing draped bust of King William III, wearing a voluminous flowing wig with long curling locks falling over the shoulders, rendered in the late Stuart baroque style. The king is depicted in classical Roman manner with a laurel wreath on his head and armor visible at the shoulder. The effigy, engraved by James Roettier, occupies the majority of the obverse field. The circumferential legend in Latin reads GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA, meaning 'William the Third by the Grace of God.' |

| Description du revers | Cruciform arrangement of four crowned heraldic shields, each bearing the arms of the constituent kingdoms: England (three passant guardant lions) at the top, Scotland (rampant lion) to the right, Ireland (harp) to the left, and France (fleurs-de-lis) at the bottom. A crowned monogram of the royal cypher appears at the center where the shields intersect. The date is divided across the top of the cross, flanking the upper shield, and the full circumferential legend reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX, meaning 'King of Great Britain, France and Ireland.' |
