Somalia's numismatic output in the 2010s was largely managed by licensing agencies operating well outside Mogadishu — these coins were never intended for Somali circulation and were produced entirely for the collector market. The "stainless steel (Paper)" composition notation indicates a paper insert laminated within the coin's core, a format used by several European minting houses to incorporate printed color imagery without enamel or color-filling costs.
The Bf 109 flew in more air forces than any other Axis aircraft, serving with Finland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Spain well into the 1950s.
