| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central shield bearing the Borough Arms of Andover: a passant lion standing before a large spreading oak tree, all contained within a pointed heraldic escutcheon. The field surrounding the shield is plain. A circular legend in Roman capital letters reads ANDOVER TOKEN in the upper arc and FOR XII PENCE in the lower arc, with a beaded border encircling the entire design. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Within a wreath of oak leaves and acorns, tied at the base and opening at the top, a four-line inscription occupies the central field reading PAYABLE / BY / W. S. & I. / WAKEFORD, with the date 1811 placed below at the foot of the wreath. A beaded border surrounds the entire composition. The design is straightforward and typographic in character, consistent with the commercial token coinage of the Regency period. |
