| Opis rewersu |
A tall, centrally positioned oil palm tree dominates the field, its fronds spreading symmetrically outward and its base flanked by tropical ground vegetation rendered in fine detail. The date 1943 appears in two groups on either side of the trunk in the lower central field, separated by the palm. A decorative scroll-and-flourish device borders the inner design at the lower sides. The legend BRITISH WEST AFRICA arcs around the upper periphery, while ONE SHILLING is inscribed along the lower arc, all within a beaded border. |
