Reverse description Central device depicting a traditional Fijian double-outrigger canoe (drua) under full sail, rendered in fine relief with rigging, mast, and hull detail clearly articulated. The date is divided by the canoe's mast, with '19' to the left and '38' (or '41') to the right of the central image. The denomination SHILLING arcs along the upper legend, while FIJI appears in larger letters along the lower portion of the field. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner border and a milled outer rim.
