The date '1937' is divided on either side of the bird in the upper field, and the designer's initials 'KG' appear below the pedestal. The surrounding legend reads 'SOUTHERN RHODESIA · ONE SHILLING ·' in raised Latin characters, with the design enclosed by a beaded border. |
