Obverse description Fourth draped bust of Queen Anne facing left, engraved by John Croker, depicting the monarch with elaborately curled hair dressed with a ribbon bow at the nape, and a lace-trimmed décolletage with a beaded necklace clasp visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the hair and drapery. The Latin legend ANNA·DEI·GRATIA· ('Anne by the Grace of God') runs clockwise around the periphery, interrupted by the bust. The coin presents a milled edge visible at the rim, consistent with early 18th-century Royal Mint production.

Reverse description Four crowned cruciform shields bearing the arms of England, Scotland, France, and Ireland respectively, arranged in a cross pattern around a central Garter star. Sceptres fill the angles between the shields, and the divided date appears in the upper field flanking the crown. The encircling Latin legend reads MAG·BRI·FR·ET·HIB·REG· ('Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland'). Multiple date varieties exist across the 1710–1714 series, including overdates for 1713 and 1714, as well as plain-edge proof strikings for 1710 and 1711.
