1 Shahi Sefid - Mozaffar al-Din Qajar

Mozaffar al-Din Shah signed the Constitutional Revolution's founding decree in August 1906, just months before his death in January 1907 — making issues from this final year of his reign politically charged artifacts. He had already ceded significant royal authority under pressure from the constitutional movement, and the treasury was badly strained by two expensive European tours he undertook largely for medical treatment. Minor silver denominations from this period circulated heavily and are frequently found well-worn, a consequence of monetary disruption rather than heavy industrial use.
