Obverse description Central field bears a three-line Arabic-script legend within an ornate wreath of oak and olive branches tied at the base. The inscription names the issuing authority as Sultan Mozaffar al-Din Shah Qajar with the mint of Tehran. The wreath, rendered in fine relief, frames the royal titulature in a formal calligraphic style characteristic of late Qajar milled coinage.
