Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Arabic calligraphic legend in Naskh script, reading the royal titulature of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The inscription is surrounded by an elaborate wreath composed of mixed foliage — olive branches to the left and oak branches to the right — tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The outer rim is defined by a continuous reeded border with fine dentilation.
