Reverse description Central device depicts the Lion and Sun emblem of Iran: a lion passant to the right holding a sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant rising sun behind its back. A crown surmounts the composition at the top. The date ١٣٣٢ (1332 AH) is inscribed in Eastern Arabic numerals on the exergual line beneath the lion, with the denomination legend شاهی appearing below. The central device is surrounded by a wreath of olive and oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon, all within a milled border.
