Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Nasta'liq inscription in two horizontal registers divided by a ruled line, recording the mint name Shiraz and the regnal information of Isma'il III. The surrounding margin carries additional epigraphic elements and floral ornaments. The strike is bold and typical of provincial Safavid mint production, with the characteristic thick, raised calligraphic strokes of the period. The flan edges are slightly irregular due to the hand-hammered production technique.
