| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by the Shi'ite kalima (profession of faith) inscribed in bold Arabic script across multiple lines. The legend reads: 'There is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God, Ali is the Friend of God.' The inscription fills the flan in the characteristically dense, overlapping naskh style typical of Safavid hammered coinage. The coin's irregular flan shows the characteristic weakness of strike common to small-denomination Safavid issues, with portions of the legend occasionally running off the edge. A partial date or additional marginal text may appear along the lower periphery. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field bears a Persian verse in nastaliq script praising Sultan Husayn as a protector of the faith, reading: 'By the grace of God, the coin of Sultan Husayn, the pious, was struck with a golden face.' The mint name Ganja (ضرب گنجه) appears in the lower portion of the field, followed by the AH regnal year 1107. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan, with the characteristically flowing cursive strokes of nastaliq script. The coin exhibits a notable counterstamp or die defect in the central area of the reverse. The irregular flan and variable strike are consistent with hammered provincial Safavid mint production. |
