| Obverse description | A spearhead depicted in profile occupies the central field, its blade rendered with a pronounced central ridge and flanking edges. Two pellets, serving as value marks denoting the sextans denomination, are positioned to the left of the spearhead. The design is bold and schematic, consistent with the aes grave casting tradition of Central Italy. The flan is broad and irregular, as typical of cast bronze coinage of this period. |
