Beschrijving voorzijde	The Bhutanese national emblem occupies the central field, depicting two highly detailed dragons rampant flanking a central Dharma Wheel (dharmachakra), all set upon a lotus pedestal. The intricate design, rendered in high relief, is enclosed within a plain inner circle. A circular legend in Dzongkha script runs along the upper periphery, while the Latin legend 'ROYAL GOVERNMENT OF BHUTAN · 1 SERTUM' arcs along the lower border.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A forward-facing crowned bust of King Jigme Singye Wangchuck dominates the central field, depicted wearing the traditional Bhutanese royal crown adorned with intricate scrollwork and a small effigy at its apex. The king is shown in ceremonial robes. Dzongkha inscriptions arc to the left and right of the effigy. The date '1982' appears in the exergue in Arabic numerals.
