| Reverse description | The large numeral '1' dominates the central field in bold serif type, denoting the denomination. Surrounding the numeral, a circular legend reading '·EESTI VABARIIK·' arcs across the upper portion and '·ÜKS SENT·' across the lower portion, both separated by raised dot stops, all within a plain border. The composition is clean and uncluttered, with the lettering evenly spaced around the periphery in strong relief against the flat field. |

| Additional information |
By 1939, Estonia had less than two years of independence remaining. The Soviet occupation of June 1940 rendered the entire Estonian coinage series obsolete almost immediately, which means late-issue pieces like this one saw minimal circulation before monetary authority collapsed entirely.
