| Obverse description | Plain convex field displaying a large incuse letter A in Latin script, rendered in bold, archaic style characteristic of early Etruscan bronze coinage. The letter is centrally positioned and deeply impressed into the irregular, lenticular flan. The surface exhibits a heavy brown and green patina consistent with prolonged burial, with scattered earthen deposits across the field. No additional devices or legends are present. The flan edges are irregular and unfinished, typical of the primitive aes grave casting technique employed at Tarquinii during the early third century BC. |
