附加信息	John Albert I of Mecklenburg was among the earliest German princes to formally adopt Lutheranism, doing so in 1549 — just three years before this coin was struck. The Sechsling denomination served the fractional currency needs of a duchy still reorganizing its ecclesiastical and administrative finances following the Reformation settlement. Mecklenburg's mint output in this period was modest, and the 1552 issues are correspondingly scarce in any condition.
