| Obverse description | The crowned heart-shaped coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino occupies the central field, displaying three towers on a mount, flanked by a laurel branch to the left and an oak branch to the right. A scroll at the base of the shield bears the motto LIBERTAS, with two crossed feathers below. The coin date 1994 appears in the lower exergue, accompanied by the engraver's signature BINI to the right. The circular legend REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO runs along the upper periphery. The design is executed in a refined, high-relief style consistent with a proof gold issue. |
