Obverse description Central field occupied by the elaborate papal arms of Innocent XI (Odescalchi family), displaying a shield quartered with an eagle in chief and horizontal bars below, surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys of St. Peter, all rendered in high relief with ornate Baroque scrollwork and foliate mantling to either side. The coin's border is formed by a continuous beaded inner ring. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, interrupted at the base.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description A large ornate Baroque cartouche, framed by bold scrolling acanthus volutes and shell motifs, encloses the three-line devotional Latin inscription in the field. A small decorative mask or head ornament surmounts the cartouche at the top, while a small heraldic shield or decorative device appears at the base. The entire design is contained within a beaded border typical of Roman Baroque papal coinage of the late seventeenth century.
