Obverse description Ornate papal coat of arms displayed within an elaborate baroque cartouche, adorned with foliate scrollwork and flanked by laurel branches. The shield is surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys of Saint Peter. A small six-pointed star appears in the upper field above the shield. The circular Latin legend reads CLEM. XI. P.M. A. VI, distributed around the periphery of the coin.
