| Opis rewersu | Central field features a bold Greek cross dividing the inner circle into four quadrants, each containing an eight-pointed star in relief, all enclosed within a beaded circular border. The surrounding Latin legend, separated from the inner design by the beaded ring, reads + CONRADVS + II + RO + REX +, invoking Conrad II, King of the Romans, under whose imperial authority the Republic of Genoa struck its coinage. Star and cross decorative stops punctuate the legend at regular intervals. The overall design is characteristic of the late medieval Genoese hammered silver tradition. |
