| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features a floriated cross with four ornate trefoil terminals, each arm adorned with stylized leaf and berry clusters radiating from a central boss, rendered in high relief. The cross is set within a plain inner circle bordered by a continuous beaded ring. The surrounding legend reads CAROLVS·RVZINI·DVX·VENETIAR·B·V·, identifying the Doge Carlo Ruzzini, with the abbreviated title Dux Venetiarum and the Benedictus Vivat acclamation. The letters B and V appear prominently in the lower field flanking the base of the cross. The outermost border is defined by a fine toothed or milled edge typical of Venetian Zecca production of the period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device consists of the Lion of Saint Mark depicted passant, facing left, with a full mane and large spread wings, set within an ornate baroque cartouche surmounted by a decorative scrollwork crown. The shield bearing the lion is rendered in high relief with fine detailing on the feathers and mane. The surrounding circular legend reads SANCTVS·MARCVS·VENET·, invoking the patron saint of Venice. In the lower exergue, separated by small rosette stops, the denomination 140 is inscribed, indicating the value in soldi. The entire design is framed by an inner beaded border and an outer milled rim consistent with Zecca di Venezia coinage of the early eighteenth century. |
