| Obverse description | At center, the Livonian Order's quartered cross displayed within a pointed shield, rendered in late Gothic heraldic style. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle, around which runs the circular legend in uncial Gothic lettering. The field between the beaded circle and the outer rim bears the continuous inscription. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and moderate relief typical of hammered billon issues of the early sixteenth century. |

| Obverse lettering | MONETA · NO · REVALIE · (Translation: Moneta Nova Revaliensis New coin of Reval) |
| Reverse description | A bold plain cross with squared arms extends to the inner beaded circle, dividing the field into four quadrants and simultaneously segmenting the surrounding legend into four parts. The inscription, rendered in uncial Gothic characters, reads between the beaded inner circle and the outer rim. The overall composition is austere and typical of Livonian Order schillings struck under Grand Master Wolter von Plettenberg, with the cross serving both as a devotional and heraldic device. |
