| Reverse description | Central crowned shield bearing the arms of the Archbishopric of Riga — a stylised tree or branch device set upon a hatched or stippled ground — enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The crown above the shield is rendered with small pearled points in the hammered style. A surrounding circular legend in Gothic uncial script proclaims the monetary authority of the Archbishop of Riga. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered billon production; a piercing hole is present near the upper edge, indicating secondary use as a pendant or amulet. |
