| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a large ornate royal cypher comprising the interlaced letter S for Sigismund, within which is superimposed a small shield bearing the Vasa dynastic arms (a sheaf). The monogram is surmounted by a royal crown rendered in high relief with fleurs-de-lis and pearled arches. The entire central device is enclosed within a circular beaded inner border, with the Latin royal titulature legend running continuously around the periphery between the inner and outer beaded rims. |
