Obverse description Central field bears the denomination numeral '1' above the word 'SCHILLING' in bold raised Latin lettering, flanked above by two stylized floral ornaments positioned symmetrically in the upper field. Below the denomination legend, two crossed branches — likely olive or laurel sprigs — are depicted in low relief, forming a decorative X-motif. At the base of the crossed branches, the mint master's initials 'C·M·C' appear in the lower field. The overall design is plain and functional, consistent with a trial strike or essai prepared during the French occupation of Danzig under Marshal Lefebvre.
